Ford’s Q1 EV Sales Up 41% On Sales Of 10,866 Electric Vehicles

Electric-vehicle sales in the quarter were ahead 41.0%, as the company sold 10,866 units.

  • The F-150 Lightning pickup currently has a production capacity of 4,291, but Ford plans to increase this to an annual run rate of 150K (12.5K/mo) by the end of the year.
  • Sales of the e-Transit have gone up by 63% to 1,168.
  • Mach-E production volume has decreased to 5,407 due to plant changes aimed at boosting production.
