The highly anticipated 2023 NIO ET7 is making its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, showcasing the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology. One of the notable upgrades is the integration of NIO’s latest Banyan intelligent system, which promises enhanced performance and convenience for drivers.

What changes will the 2023 NIO ET7 Have ? :

One of the most impressive features of the new ET7 is the optional 150kWh solid-state battery pack, which boasts a remarkable cruising range of over 1,000 kilometers. This significant improvement in range is expected to address one of the major concerns of electric vehicle owners and further promote the adoption of electric vehicles in the market.

NIO has also introduced new battery replacement and subscription rights for ET7 owners. Starting from June 1st, the charging pile installation will be a paid service, while the number of monthly battery replacements will be increased to 4 times, free of charge. The NOP+ automatic driving assistance system will also be available as a monthly subscription for 380 yuan, with the same execution time and corresponding models as the power exchange rights.

In terms of design, the NIO ET7 continues the brand’s minimalist style, with integrated LED headlights and daytime running lights seamlessly incorporated into the closed front X-Bar design, giving the car a sleek and stylish appearance. The dimensions of the ET7 are 5098mm in length, 1987mm in width, and 1505mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3060mm, positioning it as a medium-to-large pure electric vehicle.

The interior of the ET7 is refined and luxurious, featuring renewable wood veneer, a domed glass roof, Microfiber microfiber fleece ceiling, HUD head-up display, and Nappa interior package as standard. The 12.8-inch central control screen and 10.2-inch instrument panel offer improved resolution and contrast. The car also boasts a surround-type waterfall ambient light with 64 adjustable colors, creating a cozy ambiance for the driver. Additionally, the standard 23 speakers provide a premium 7.14 immersive sound system.

Under the hood, the NIO ET7 is powered by the NT2 second-generation high-efficiency electric drive platform, made of new materials, and features a motor combination of 180kW front permanent magnet and 300kW rear induction, delivering a combined power of 480kW and a peak torque of 850N m. The acceleration time from 0 to 100km/h is an impressive 3.9 seconds, with a braking distance of 33.5 meters. The car also features a standard Brembo brake caliper for enhanced safety.

The NIO ET7 offers three battery pack options with capacities of 70kWh, 100kWh, and 150kWh, providing cruising ranges of over 500km, 700km, and 1,000km respectively under NEDC conditions. The car’s steel-aluminum hybrid body, air suspension with CDC dynamic damping control, and 4D body control system based on high-precision maps and sensors provide a smooth and comfortable driving experience, with advanced suspension adjustments to proactively tackle road bumps.

The 2023 NIO ET7 sets a new standard for electric vehicles with its cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and luxurious features.
