Ram has unveiled its 2025 Ram 1500 REV electric truck at the New York Auto Show. The truck boasts impressive specs, including 650 horsepower and up to 500 miles of range, making it a formidable competitor in the electric truck market. While it was first teased during the Super Bowl, the New York Auto Show marks the first time the vehicle has been seen up close, with Ram providing all the important details about its battery packs and powertrain.
The battery packs of the Ram 1500 REV electric truck, which come in two sizes, a standard one with 168 kilowatt-hours of capacity and a larger optional pack with 229 kWh of capacity. The standard pack can provide up to 350 miles of range, while the larger pack can offer up to 500 miles. The Ram 1500 REV also includes an 800-volt system for DC fast charging with 350-kW chargers, bi-directional charging, and various power points around the truck.
The truck is equipped with a pair of electric motors with standard all-wheel drive, each having an output of 250 kW, totaling 654 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the truck can reach 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and has a locking rear axle option for off-roading.
