Mullen Automotive, a growing electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has revealed the customer pricing for its Mullen ONE Class 1 EV Cargo Van and Mullen THREE Class 3 EV Cab Chassis Truck. David Michery, CEO and Chairman of Mullen Automotive, stated that the pricing makes it easier for more fleets to make the transition to EVs as they work towards their sustainability goals.
The Mullen ONE is expected to be the first EV cargo van in the US market for the Class 1 commercial vehicle segment, designed specifically for last-mile delivery. It boasts a 110-mile estimated range, a 4,881 lbs. GVWR, and 1,683 lbs. max payload. The Class 1 EV Cargo Van is priced at $34,500 with an available federal tax credit of $7,500, which reduces its net price to $27,000.
On the other hand, the Mullen THREE is a Class 3 low cab forward EV truck, which has excellent visibility and superior maneuverability on narrow city streets. It features a 130-mile estimated range, an 11,000 lbs. GVWR, and 5,802 lbs. max payload. The Class 3 EV Cab Chassis Truck has a starting MSRP of $68,500, and an available tax credit of $7,500, reducing its net price to $61,000.
The Mullen THREE also qualifies for various state incentives, such as the California HVIP program, offering up to $45,000 in incentives for commercial Class 3 products like the Mullen THREE EV Cab Chassis Truck. Recently, the Randy Marion Automotive Group ordered 1,000 Class 3 EV Cab Chassis Trucks valued at $63M, which will be produced in Tunica, Mississippi, with production set to start in August 2023 and final deliveries to be completed by Q1 2024.
