NIO, has officially started delivering the highly-anticipated 2023 ET7 sedan. The company initiated deliveries in various major cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou, on May 19.
Unveiled at the Shanghai auto show a month ago, the facelifted ET7 showcases more than 15 upgrades, such as improved seats and a wireless charging panel. Despite these enhancements, NIO has maintained the original pricing. The sedan is available in different battery pack options, with the starting price ranging from RMB 458,000 ($65,350) to RMB 536,000. NIO is also offering a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) program, providing more flexibility to potential buyers.
In addition to the ET7, NIO is set to launch its new ES6 SUV on May 24, which has been a crucial contributor to the company’s sales in recent years. The deliveries of the ES6 are scheduled to begin on May 25. With these releases, NIO aims to further strengthen its position in the electric vehicle market.
