Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) has partnered with Energica Motor Company, a leading global expert in high-performance electric motorcycles and EV system integrations. PLI will serve as an Industrial Partner of Energica and take on the role of Title Sponsor for Energica Racing America in the upcoming 2023 season.
PLI, represented by their brand Petronas Iona, specializes in next-generation fluids designed specifically for electric vehicles. With this partnership, Energica becomes part of PLI’s list of Original Equipment Manufacturer collaborations, expanding their Fluid Technology Solutions to meet the evolving demands of electric vehicles.
Since the launch of Petronas Iona in 2019, Petronas Lubricants International has been dedicated to promoting sustainability and supporting electric vehicles through various large-scale initiatives. These efforts focus on reducing environmental impact, advancing clean energy, managing greenhouse gas emissions, and fostering a circular economy. Energica shares a similar vision and mission for a cleaner and more sustainable future of mobility, aligning with the goals of PLI.
In addition to this collaboration, Energica is currently providing its expertise and machinery to support the Tytlers Cycle Racing team in the Roland Sand Design Super Hooligan National Championship, a part of the MotoAmerica series. As the sole electric manufacturer competing alongside internal combustion engine players, Energica demonstrates its capabilities and commitment to the field.
The spotlight of this racing challenge shines on the Eva Ribelle RS, an exceptional electric ‘hypernaked’ motorcycle ridden by Stefano Mesa from Colombia. Energica electric motorcycles have been manufactured in Italy’s Motor Valley since 2014 and are available through over 130 dealers and importers worldwide. Energica Motor Company became a part of Ideanomics, a global group dedicated to accelerating the commercial adoption of electric vehicles, in April 2022.
